Helga Aichmaier works at the Angewandte for the research community from the institutional side (including for INTRA). Previously, she worked for the FWF (e.g. for PEEK), at the Kunstuniversität Linz (PhD studies), at the University of Basel / HGK Basel (design and image research), and as a freelancer after completing her initial training in graphic design at the Angewandte.

Tina Auers’ work oscillates cheer- and playful between art, research, technology, entertainment and science. She has been part of Time’s Up since it was founded in 1996. Together with the collective Time’s Up, she works on the creation, conception, implementation and evaluation of media-enhanced, interactively challenging, physically substantial immersive installations.

Gerald Bast has been Rector of the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2000. As rector, the trained lawyer initiated new, interdisciplinary programmes in teaching and research. Margarete Jahrmann, is an artist, writer and researcher. She is Professor for Experimental Game Cultures at University of Applied Arts Vienna and leads the FWF funded artistic research project Neuromatic Game Art. Martin Reinhart (*1967 Vienna) has studied at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He is a teacher, filmmaker, media historian and inventor. He has been visiting professor for energy-efficient design at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn from 2016-2020. In 2006 he founded EXIKON.
